About Me

I am a professional conference interpreter and translator with over 20 years experience. I am available for conference work locally in Southern California and remotely worldwide.

In interpretation I have worked on all settings from community based events to major highly technical conferences. In addition to life sciences, technology, education, water rights and environmental issues, I have also worked on Indigenous Peoples issues and Disability Rights. The film industry, the arts and theater are also an area of subspecialty.

In translation I specialize in cultural adaptation and transcreation for the Spanish speaking US market with an emphasis on QA and high level reviews. I have worked extensively in the medical pharmaceutical fields and software localization. I have experience doing voice over and directing voice over sessions, both in person and remotely.

Because of my years experience as a project manager and resource management, I am solution oriented and excel at client communications and training. I can work solo, but I also have a network of highly specialized Spanish translators and interpreters.

I have a passion for theater and the performing arts and I have translated numerous plays and articles related to theater.
